Homo Erectus

I am credited with working on this film. I saw Ron Jeremy and David Carradine in person (Jeremy seemed just as perverse as you would imagine, and Carradine just as much of an ass. However, I didn't talk to either of them, so who knows.)

It was part of a program at the University of Texas to introduce film students to actual Hollywood style production. I'm not expecting much, but hey...it's a start.

Kinda ok trailer. Should have been less frat-pack formula and more woody allan. really bad choice on the font. A little too long. The whole 'homo' joke with the title is so small and insular to the title itself that it doesn't play with the last clips, primarily because that's not really the joke of the movie. Looks a hell of a lot better than Cassidy Kids, however. It's a shame out of, what... 4 films, Burnt Orange has produced 4 stinkers. Do they not know what a good script is or are they not want ing to give any decent, commercially viable filmakers a chance? Give me $100,000 and I can produce a non-SAG, solid narative that would get into festivals, get it's budget back but unfortunately still wouldn't give Burnt Orange a good name. They can't really pull a 180 from where they've been heading. -blake
