WE WON!! - SXSW 2007 Here We Come!
Here is one thing that absolutely made my day. PLAYING CHICKEN: THE MOVIE! WON the South by Southwest Click Festival online. Not only did we win the Popularity Contest, but we also won on merit alone. Now the movie will be shown during the SXSW 2007 Festival in Austin.
I'd really like to congratulate my talented friend Charles Mulford for doing such a great job producing this short. I have known this guy for nearly 5 years now, and I have to say..."Chuck, you have really blown me away. You have definitely shown me what an incredible talent you truly posses. You and I, we're gonna make it." Also, I obviously want to congratulate Bradley Jackson for writing and directing such a funny student short film, and of course all the other people who worked on this film. It was great fun, and I think the quality of the movie speaks for itself.

First of all...I am not an Anti-Semite.
I want to list a few quotes that I found recently that are very disturbing, but should be interesting in the context to some of the other things I have talked about on this blog recently.
"What good fortune for governments that the people do not think." - Adolf Hitler
This quote couldn't be any more true. Do you intend to be one of these people? Think!
"The great strength of the totalitarian state is that it forces those who fear it to imitate it." - Adolf Hitler
That old saying "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Apparently that's how the German people felt when they all became Nazis. At least the ones who weren't already sick, disgusting individuals. What kind of individual are you?
"The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one." - Adolf Hitler
I don't think any quote could be any more poignant than this one. Wake up people. There is serious business going on right now, and it will affect you. (and certainly your decendents)
"When an opponent declares, 'I will not come over to your side,' I calmly say, 'Your child belongs to us already... What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.'" - Adolf Hitler
-------------------
EXTRA: This has nothing to do with Adolf Hitler, but I wanted to put it on here beacuse I have been meaning to for a few days and I just always forget. The conspiracy rumor mill has made interesting predictions recently. Here they are...
- There is a possibility of a new "terrorist" event possibly occuring in October.
- Sources who predicted the war with Iraq have now stated that we will be at war with Iran by the end of the year. (Possibly the beginning of next year)
- The first two predicitions will possibly be connected. A terrorirst event will be used to sway the public into accepting a wider conflict. Most likely this will be because western governments will use the recent Israeli - Lebenon conflict as a way to connect any "terrorist" even to Hezbollah and then of course Iran.
Just want to keep a record of the word on the street.

Taste of the Rockies!
Here are a few things I learned on the tour:
- Coors invented the two-piece can in order to efficiently package the beer without creating excess waste. The design was purposely not patented in order to allow other companies to use the design. Now all major canned drinks use this design.
- Coors also has a department of the company called CoorsTek that produces porcelin products. I'm still trying to figure out why.
- Coors is one of the most self sufficient and self contained companies I have ever heard of. They produce nearly 85% of their own power, they produce there own packaging, and recycle a large amount of their waste by creating by products that can be sold to other companies and individuals.
Anyway, I will be flying back to Austin on Tuesday. Anyone who care about me enough comment should do so. I'd like to hear what's on everybody's mind.

Q: Who could have guessed? A: Alex Jones
The slavery that the powers at be have planned for us may come unbeknownst to the average man. Its power is derived from a mental conditioning. An subconscious (or even conscious) willingness to accept the status quo.

GCN and RBN - Can you handle the TRUTH?
The GCN Live station broadcasts the ALEX JONES SHOW across the nation. I am most familiar with Alex Jones because he is a native of Austin and a leader of the The Truth Movement.
To listen to some of the shows hosted by these stations check out these radio frequencies
Austin:
100.1 FM
90.1 FM
I have yet to find the frequencies for other cities (Los Angeles and Houston), but I am sure that with a little investigating you can find a local broadcast of these programs. You can also stream these programs live over the internet.
The truth is out there. You just need to be willing to look for it.
While ignorance can make life easier in the short term, it is only until you are informed that you will fully understand the slavery that will eventually consume us. In the past slavery was defined by physical restriction and confinement. Today it is coupled with a form of mental conditioning. Mass media conditions people, narrows their interests, and creates a conception of what is "normal."
I enjoy media of all kinds, but you must understand the context, who is in control, and what is real.

Op. Northwoods and The New Pearl Harbor
This is real, people!
Also, if you click HERE you will find an article written in 2002 (after the invasion of Afghanistan, but before the invasion of Iraq) that describes the current administrations plan to wage war on various countries and to broaden the US military presence in the Middle East. I consider this article to be extremely insightful, considering its context, and simply amazing when you recall recent events. Everything that we have seen unfold in the last 5 years was planned well before hand, and the fact that our own Vice President, Dick Cheney, and his cronies were already planning a Northwoods style event in order to allow their plan to unfold is truly disturbing.
Please take the time to read the aformentioned articles, as well as the documents that are referred to (The Project for the New American Century and Rebuilding America's Defenses), in order to better understand the nature of the current situation that we all inhabit. We no longer have honorable men, who we can intrust with our freedoms, like the assasinated President John F. Kennedy. We are reaching a point of no return and there is a war on for you mind.
Wikipedia: The Project for the New American Century
They say that hindsight is 20/20. I guess this is why we are able to be so critical of the German people allowing Hitler to rise to power, as well as there inability to see the tyranny that eventually overtook them, and how they seemed so willing to accept it. How will the future see the people of the United States in the beginning of the 21st century?

Sorry for the Delay - Mngmt.
- My monitor died suddenly. I woke up one day a few weeks ago and my monitor simply wasn't working. Fortunately, my good friend Chuck let me borrow his monitor for awhile while he was out of town, but now he is back in town because....
- Both Chuck and I have been working on a new short film called "Script Cops." It is a parody on the TV show COPS, but they arrest bad screenwriters. Hopefully this project will become a collection of trailers for the Austin Film Festival. It's is being directed by on of my former professors, Scott Rice, and forged from the labor of an incredible cast and crew. The shoot has been taking place during the last 2 days and it ends on Sunday. Anyone who knows anything about the film business knows that shooting days can be long and tiring. Friday was over 12 hours and Saturday was about 10 or so. Tomorrow will probably be something of the same. (In case anyone cares, I'm the U-Haul truck driver and Production Assitant on this project)
I will be finished on Monday with a few things to do:
- Go back to work (even though my boss is on Vaction...so I guess, really, I'm on vacation)
- Plan my trip to Colorado to visit my Grandfather and my Aunt (..and the VIP Coors Tour!) I'll be gone from July 27th - 31st.
- Get ready to move to motherfucking Los Angeles, California.

Prediction - Global Warfare by 2010
- Energy and resouce shortages
a majority of the world's oil resides in the war ravaged Middle East
- Imbalance of power
the United States is the sole super power
- Ideological differences
increasing tension between religious and political views
- Overpopulation
the world's population is 6.5 billion (in contrast to 2.5 billion in 1950)
"...wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, this week's bomb attacks in India, North Korean nuclear threats, terrorist arrests and investigations in Florida, Canada and Britain, and violence in Israel and Lebanon [are] evidence of World War III."
The image above shows you the nations involved in the last global conflict, World War II, which was over 60 years ago. As you can see, not all of these countries were involved in fighting, but the effects of global conflict are just that, global.
As americans we have been lucky. For the last two generations we have suffered no social hardship. Unfortunately, I am of the belief that this is going to be the reason that the coming crisis will be a shock and most likely unbelievable for most americans.
War is not something that we as humans have out grown. In fact, it is one of the more evident characteristics of our species. We have been waring with each other since the beginning of recorded history and it would be ignorant to think that it won't continue.
While this is certainly not something to excited about, or look forward to, it is better to be informed than ignorant. We are inhabitants of a society, a society that is reliant on a global infrastructure. This infrastructure is at risk and that is something that should interest everyone.

The Beginning of Global Warfare
"I do not know with what weapons World War 3 will be fought, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert EinstienI have avoided talking too much about politics and global events in the beginning stages of this blog because it is summer time, soccer has been going on, and overall nothing TOO exciting or has been in the news lately. Well, that sure has changed. If you have been reading or watching the news at all in the last few weeks, or especially in the last few days, you have seen that there is a major escalation in the Isreali-Arab conflict in the Middle East. This is a huge development in the world, which is so closely hinging on global conflict. Seems unimaginalbe that we could see another World War, I know, but wait...does it really? The last one was only 60 years ago, that's what's incredible.
I keep a very close eye on current events and I have some strong opinions about the goings on in the world. Believe me, as the old cliche says," not everything is as it seems". I will continuely post links to websites and news stories online that are of interest.
This fantastic country we live in is being destroyed by rouge elements of our government and foreign governments. We are being lied to and manipulated. Below are a few links that should help to inform anyone that is curious to learn more about the reality that we inhabit.
- Infowars.com - This website helped open my eyes to what is going on in the world and the people who are behind it. It may seem crazy to believe some of the things you will read on this site, but if you take time to free your mind, and just try to look at it objectively, I promise you will learn something.
Also, if you are intersted in seeing an amazing new movie about the history of government sponsored terrorism (like that commited on Sept. 11th, 2001) then you should watch Terrorstorm by Alex Jones.
Some other interesting websites and blogs that I normally read for news include:
1. WindsofChange.net
2. CNN.com
3. BBCnews.com
4. PortalofEvil.com
5. WhatReallyHappened.com
This country was founded by our forefathers who openly admitted that governments should be feared. We are living in a world where those in power have learned techniques to control mass populations in order to secure their own wealth, power, and control. We have an opportunity to prevent that and save our freedoms, save our rights, and save our country.
WAKE UP!

World Cup 2006 - Wrap Up
Not to mention, he totally stole the thunder from the Italians. This World Cup will always be remembered as the one where Zidane blew up an Italian man's heart with his bald head, not as the 4th Italian World Cup victory.

Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man's Chest
Granted, this movie isn't a cultural masterpiece, but it isn't trying to be. Pirates of the Carribean, the entire franchise, is an exciting ride through a make believe world of pirates, booty, sword fights and rum. Right now, I'm wondering "why is the rum is always gone?"

That was a Heck of a Birthday, America!
First of all, the shuttle launch was successful and WE'RE BACK IN SPACE!
Also, even though it was a day to celebrate America's independence, there was still World Cup 2006 semi-finals goin' on. The USA team is of course no longer in the cup, but it was still entertaining watching the Italian team defeat Germany on their own soil.
Finally, North Korea seems to think that firing off missles is a good way to celebrate the 4th. Apparently they got confused by all the fireworks. (I think.) Anyway, North Korea, seriously, what are you doing?
Sure, there were plenty of other aspects to the day that were really only witnessed by me (and the people around me) that also made my July 4th, 2006 a great one, but I won't bore you with those details here. IM me at gobuffs10 on AIM and ask me how my 4th went!

230 YEARS!!! USA! USA! USA!
1. Drink Beer. American Beer.
2. Submerge one's self in water.
3. Eat animals.
4. Engage in, or watch, the act of something blowing up.
5. Vocalize the phrase "F#@% Red Coats!"
WATCH THE SHUTTLE LAUNCH! (1:37pm CST)
(It could very well be the last)

Aldous Huxley and Our Brave New World
It's extremely important to me that people reading this, and people who know me, understand that bickering about the political garbage that is constantly spewed at us all day everday is only allowing a futher whitewash of our freedoms and our rights. Politicians throwing words around means nothing in comparison to truly being free. Rather than worrying about whether you are on the Red or Blue team, let's all take a second to look at the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain. There are people, organizations, and forces in this world that benefit from those who believe they are free when they are not, who believe they know the truth when they do not.
Make an effort to be a vigilant american. Tomorrow is the day that we celebrate the birth of our nation. It is probably my favorite day of the year (certainly my favorite holiday.) Politics is not a game and it's not a hobby, it's a trick. It has become a venue for those in power to take advantage and mislead those who are not. America has been scared into submission. I don't have any fear of cave dwellers and camel hearders. I have lived in America my entire life, and the only thing I'm scared of is loosing my freedom.

World Cup 2006 - Semi-Finals
The quarter-final match between France and Brazil was an interesting game. Certainly some of the greatest players in the world facing off. The french star Zidane is playing every game like it's his last, because their next loss will be his last. He is retiring after the cup. I wouldn't say I was suprised to see Brazil lose, but it's always a little disappointing to see those frog-eating-surrender-monkey's win something. Whatever though, glad to see they are finally playing some soccer.
Semi-Final Matches:
July 4, 2006 2pm CST - Germany vs. Italy
July 5, 2006 2pm CST - Portugal vs. France
My prediction for the Final:
Italy vs. France (Italy 2-1)
